NIKE SNKRS APP – Carte Blanche
Client: SNKRS APP by Nike
The SNKRS APP is Nike's dedicated platform for sneaker culture, offering exclusive content, drops, and live events. Carte Blanche is a monthly SNKRS APP live series hosted by Julia Lebossé.The challenge was to craft a visually dynamic brand identity and design system that embodies the Carte Blanche concept: a space of limitless creativity and evolving narratives. This platform is dedicated to women who reshape the world they live in, reflecting their forward momentum and contributions to sneaker culture and beyond. Inspired by the unbounded possibilities of Carte Blanche, I built a design language around a dreamlike, maximalist aesthetic with gaming and Japanese TV influences. The logo’s organic, bubbly design and gradient sky backgrounds bring the concept of boundless creativity to life, complemented by bold typography with oversized outlines and saturated colors. To deepen the digital feel, I introduced custom 3D icons that enhance the immersive experience. Working with a 3D designer, we developed thematic 3D cards that introduce each episode segment, alongside a whole custom 3D set developed in collaboration, featuring cloud-like shapes and adaptive lighting that shifts to reflect each topic. Collaborating with a sound designer, we added distinct jingles for each card, enriching the experience through sound.I also crafted visuals and cards illustration as key assets for the SNKRS APP live events, spotlighting each guest. This brand identity embodies the Carte Blanche concept as a limitless space where anything is possible, to celebrate and amplify the voices of women in sneaker culture.
